A Midsummer Night's Dream
David Grant's production of a Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream offers a very accessible and enjoyable rendition of the classic play. Through fine acting, an excellent set, and the interesting choice to use local accents, the play comes together in a wonderful and often humorous fashion. The story is told well and fails to seem dragged out, despite its two and a half hour length, thanks to the always animated and lively performers. The play made a perfect opening to the Earagail Arts festival and was well worth a watch and set a high standard for the rest of the festival to live up to.
